3 Rules To Sparking Learning
In this video we find Ramsey Musallam talking about his 3 rules to spark creative and thoughtful learning, these being "Curiosity comes first, embrace the mess, practice reflection". He explains through the video how he likes to teach in a way that students will get confused, perplexed and ask questions about the subject in hand. This form of teaching promotes being wrong sometimes before being right but at the same time helps students build there way to the answers.
Ramsey Musallam goes on after to talk about not being afraid to move away from reading from a book as if each lesson is scripted but to do experiments and to give students freedom to figure stuff out and speak there voices.
Following this he likes to talk to students about what they learned and how they learned it as form of reflection and also as revision. This will help keep all the knowledge his pupil learned in there brains.
